Who we are
East Coast Bible College is a Bible College by the Local Church for the Local Church. Functioning as an educational ministry based out of Rock Church Halifax, our college offers affordable and foundational theology programs to strengthen Christians and local churches throughout the East Coast of Canada.
Where we come from
Our Bible College benefits from a tight-knit relationship with Rock Church Halifax, which is part of what makes our program unique. At ECBC, students get to study theology in the context of a local church. As part of our program, students will learn from practitioners, getting access to a variety of hands-on serving opportunities, and mentoring relationships.
Since its birth in 1972, Rock Church has grown into a multi-generational, multi-ethnic, Spirit-filled church where God is glorified, disciples are made, and the Gospel is preached. Find out more about Rock Church by visiting https://rockchurch.ca/
Where we're headed
Our Bible College is on a mission to train up and send out a new generation of pastors and Christian leaders to serve and strengthen local churches across the East Coast of Canada.
We do this by offering robust Biblical education, hands-on ministry experience, deep character formation, and relational mentorship.
We envision dozens of churches across the East Coast and beyond filled with healthy, high-character, Biblically faithful, Spirit-filled, and mission-minded leaders who are helping change communities with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
