An overview of the scriptural foundation and historical practice of Christian worship. This course also explores how music and structures such as the tabernacle were incorporated into worship.
Passions and Values 1 & 2
This course is designed to set a solid foundation for the underlying passions and values that should be guiding each of our individual and ministry lives.
Building Leaders and Teams
This course is a study in the development of leadership as it applies to both individuals and teams. Emphasis will be placed on principles and methods of training leaders as well as understanding and developing the dynamics of leadership teams.
Old Testament Survey
Old Testament Survey aims to provide an overview of the 39 books of the Old Testament by examining their historical context, the circumstances of their writing, their authors, the dates they were written, and their main messages.
New Testament Survey
New Testament Survey offers a broad overview of the 27 books of the New Testament. It focuses on the historical context and central themes of each book, highlighting their unique contributions to the overall message of the Bible.
Doctrine of the Church:
Doctrine of the Church is a comprehensive biblical study of the church’s purpose, place, and significance. It provides a theological foundation for understanding the value of the Church, both in its historical context as well as in today’s world.
Basic Doctrine 1 & 2
Basic Doctrine systematically unpacks the most foundational beliefs in Christianity that enable sound Christian thinking. Completing this course will also challenge you to grow personally in your relationship with God.
Worldviews
This course attempts to articulate for students how each worldview answers the following big questions of life: Knowledge Question, Reality Question, God Question, Morality Question, Identity Question, Meaning Question, and the Eternity Question.
Intro to Preaching:
An introduction to the fundamentals of preaching. The student is taught a biblical perspective on preaching. Special attention is given to the purpose behind preaching, the character of the preacher, and the quality of the message.
Intro to Counseling:
An introduction to counseling including a review of major behavioral models and components of biblical guidance.
Covenants:
Covenants is an in-depth study of the nine biblical covenants that God made with man: Edenic, Adamic, Noahic, Abrahamic, Mosaic, Palestinian, Davidic, New and Everlasting. The covenants are the main expression of the relationship between God and man.
Life of Christ:
Life of Christ is an in-depth study of the life, ministry, and teaching of the Lord Jesus Christ taken from the parallel Gospel accounts.
Pastoral Ministry:
This course lays the Biblical foundation and principles for pastoral ministry and how these principles apply to the local church. Every student will also be equipped in practices and disciplines to overcome today's challenges.
