East Coast Bible College exists as an educational ministry of Rock Church in Halifax. As a Bible College based out of Rock Church, much of our faculty and staff come from the Pastoral staff of Rock Church Halifax.

Our Bible College functions as an affiliate program of Portland Bible College, based out of Portland, Oregon, US. The curriculum has been developed by Portland Bible College but will be delivered by the faculty at East Coast Bible College.

Portland Bible College began in 1967 and functions as an educational ministry of Mannahouse (formerly City Bible Church). They are committed to developing leaders who know how to live in God’s presence and establish their lives on a clear set of biblical values that enable them to thrive in life and serve as influential leaders in their church and society. 

Students who are studying at East Coast Bible College can continue further Biblical Education by transferring credits into Portland Bible College programs, either online or in-person, working toward an Associate of Theology or a Bachelor of Theology.
